We are proud to celebrate the amazing achievement of Alexander Sukhiashvili, a student of the Georgian Chess Academy! He competed in the North American Continental Youth Chess Championship in the Under 14 Open category and scored 7 out of 9 points, tying for 1st and 2nd place. With this result, Alexander earned the title of FIDE Candidate Master (CM)! ♟
